Draft pending review by a lawyer. This text describes what the product does today; it is not legal advice and may change before final publication.
Who owns the platform, what licence we give to clinics, that the clinic’s content belongs to the clinic and which open-source software we use.
1 · 1. Who owns the platform
Tsunami Automation Global LLC and its licensors own Soluciones para Doctores: the software, the design, the name and logos, the texts, the templates and the documentation. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you, except the licence in section 2.
The marks, names and logos of Soluciones para Doctores may not be used without written permission.
Legal basis: Ley Federal del Derecho de Autor; Ley de la Propiedad Industrial
2 · 2. Licence we give to clinics
While your subscription is active, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to use the platform for your clinic’s activities.
- You may use the templates we give you (messages, forms, consent texts) in your clinic. They are a starting point: have your lawyer review them.
- You may not copy, sell, rent or resell the platform.
- You may not try to get the source code or decompile it, except as far as the law allows even if the contract forbids it.
- You may not remove ownership notices, or use the platform to make a product that competes with it.
- The licence ends when the service ends.
Legal basis: Ley Federal del Derecho de Autor
3 · 3. The clinic’s content belongs to the clinic
What the clinic puts on the platform stays with the clinic or with whoever holds those rights: patient data, notes, its own templates, texts, images, logo and brand. We do not claim ownership of it.
The clinical record belongs to the institution or provider that creates it. The patient has rights over their information. The platform does not change that.
The clinic states that it has the right to upload that content and that it does not infringe the rights of others.
Legal basis: NOM-004-SSA3-2012, numeral 5.4; Ley Federal del Derecho de Autor
4 · 4. Permission to run the service
To provide the service, the clinic allows us to host, copy, process, transmit and display its content. We do it only to run the platform, with our subprocessors and to make backups. For patients’ personal data, the data processing contract (/legal/en/contrato-encargo) applies, and it is stricter.
We may use aggregate statistics that do not identify patients (for example, how many appointments are created per month) to run and improve the service. This permission ends with the service, except for backups that are replaced over time.
5 · 5. Feedback and suggestions
If you send us ideas or comments about the platform, we may use them without paying you and without any duty on your side. Do not include patient data or confidential information in them. This gives us no right over your clinic’s data.
6 · 6. Open-source software
The platform is built with third-party open-source software packages. Each has its own licence (most are MIT, Apache-2.0, ISC or BSD). We respect them.
The list of packages, with their licence and copyright notice, is in the THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES file, published at /legal/en/licencias. For those components, their licence prevails over these terms.
7 · 7. Licences with special conditions
We review licences with special conditions (copyleft). This is what exists today:
- An image-processing library we use has a native component (libvips) licensed LGPL-3.0. We use it unmodified, as a dependency.
- A tool used only when building the site (lightningcss) is licensed MPL-2.0. It is not part of what runs.
- A source-available tool (licence FSL-1.1-MIT) is used only when building the site.
We do not modify any of these components and we do not distribute them separately. The platform is offered as an online service and today is not delivered as an installable program. If you want the source code of an LGPL or MPL component, ask support@tsunamiautomation.com and we tell you where to get it. Nothing in these terms limits what those licences allow you to do.
A lawyer must confirm that this use meets the conditions of LGPL-3.0, MPL-2.0 and FSL-1.1-MIT.
8 · 8. Fonts
The site uses the fonts Newsreader, DM Sans and JetBrains Mono, licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. They are served from our own server. You may use and share them under that licence, but not sell them on their own.
9 · 9. Third-party marks
WhatsApp, Meta, Google, Stripe, Mercado Pago and other names and logos that appear on the platform are marks of their owners. We mention them to say which services we work with. It does not mean those companies endorse us or have any relationship with us.
Legal basis: Ley de la Propiedad Industrial
10 · 10. How to report an infringement
If you think something on the platform infringes your copyright or trademark, write to support@tsunamiautomation.com with the subject “Infringement notice” and include:
- who you are and how to contact you;
- which work or mark is yours and where the proof is;
- where the content you complain about is (link or description);
- a good-faith statement that the use is not authorised;
- a statement that your information is correct and that you are the owner or act on the owner’s behalf.
We acknowledge receipt within a reasonable time and review the notice. We may temporarily remove or block the content and tell the clinic that uploaded it, so it can respond. If an account repeats the infringement, we may close it.

11 · 11. Governing law
These matters are governed by the laws of Mexico, including the Ley Federal del Derecho de Autor and the Ley de la Propiedad Industrial, and by the terms of use you accepted.
